Mida-Lab
Michela D’Angelo was born in Rome. In 2015 she graduated in Product Design at EASD School of Arts and Design in Valencia, Spain. In 2017 she moved to the Netherlands to apprentice for artist Nacho Carbonell, for whom she worked 5 years. In 2021 she started MiDA-lab project, her brand and atelier in Sectie-C Eindhoven. MiDA-lab is about stretching everything. Michela overrides existing conventions in design as well as limitations of matter: clay, glass, rattan, recycled plastics, textiles, bronze. Her drawings and products open up to an astonishing mindset.
